Guest posting is a great way to share your knowledge, expertise, and passion with other photography enthusiasts. It can also help you grow your audience, establish your authority, and build relationships with other bloggers in your niche.
I’m always looking for high-quality guest posts that can add value to my site and my readers. If you are interested in guest posting on my site, here are some guidelines and tips that you need to follow.
Table of Contents
Guest Posting Guidelines
- Your guest post should be original and not published elsewhere. You can republish it on your own site after 30 days, but you need to include a link back to my site and mention that it was first published here.
- Your post should be relevant to my site’s topics, which are photography, photography marketing, photography workflow, photography editing, AI workflow, and stable diffusion. You can also write about fitness/health blogging related to fitness photography, such as how to take stunning fitness photos, how to market your fitness photography services, how to edit fitness photos with AI tools, or how to use stable diffusion to create amazing fitness photo effects. You can write about any aspect of these topics, such as tips, tutorials, reviews, comparisons, case studies, best practices, trends, etc.
- Your post could also explore how to use Web3 technologies such as NFTs, blockchain, and the metaverse to market your art and generate income from your photography, while being mindful of the environmental and ethical implications.
- Your post should be well-written, informative, and engaging. You should use clear and concise language, proper grammar and spelling, and a friendly and professional tone. You should also use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and images to make your post easy to read and scan.
- Your post should be at least 1,000 words long. You can write longer posts if you have more to say, but avoid fluff and filler. You should also include a catchy and descriptive title, a short and compelling introduction, and a clear and actionable conclusion.
- Your post should include at least one link to a relevant post on my site, and up to three links to your own site or social media profiles. You can also include links to other reputable and authoritative sources, but avoid spammy or promotional links. You should also use proper anchor texts and avoid keyword stuffing.
- Your post should include a short bio (about 50 words) at the end, where you can introduce yourself, your site, and your expertise. You can also include a headshot and a call to action for the readers to visit your site or follow you on social media.
Guest Posting Tips
- Before you pitch me your post idea, you should do some research on my site and see what kind of content I publish, what topics I cover, and what tone and style I use. You should also check out my existing guest posts and see what kind of feedback they received from the readers.
- When you pitch me your post idea, you should send me an email with the subject line “Guest Post Idea for [Your Site Name]”. You should include your name, your site name and URL, your social media handles, and a brief introduction of yourself and your expertise. You should also include a summary of your post idea, the main points you want to cover, and the focus keyword you want to use. You should also attach some samples of your previous guest posts or other relevant content.
- After you pitch me your guest post idea, you should wait for my response and approval before you start writing your post. I will try to reply to your email within a week and let you know if I accept your idea or not. If I accept your idea, I will also give you some feedback and suggestions on how to improve it. If I reject your idea, I will also explain why and what you can do to make it better.
- When you write your guest post, you should follow the guidelines I mentioned above and use the feedback and suggestions I gave you. You should also proofread and edit your guest post before you send it to me. You can use tools like Copilot, Grammarly, and Hemingway to help you with this process.
- When you send me your guest post, you should attach it as a Word document or a Google Doc, and include any images you want to use as separate files. You should also include your bio, headshot, and links in the email. You should use the subject line “Guest Post Submission for [Your Site Name]”.
- After you send me your guest post, you should wait for my review and approval before I publish it on my site. I will try to review your guest post within a week and let you know if I accept it or not. If I accept it, I will also tell you when I plan to publish it and send you the link once it goes live. If I reject it, I will also explain why and what you can do to fix it.
